But even Selena Gomez admits to feeling insecure and pressured to conform in Hollywood.



The 19-year-old Disney beauty talked candidly to Glamour magazine about how she deals with being a young celebrity while modelling the fall's hottest beauty trends.

When asked by the magazine if it is hard being young and a Hollywood star, the actress responded: 'Yeah, you have this pressure [to fit in] and you want people to like you. I try my best to be a good person and be the best I can be.'



She takes inspiration from her peers, and become close with her recent Monte Carlo co-stars Leighton Meester and Katie Cassidy.



'I was nervous and intimidated because they are older and had worked on movies before, but they were the best girls I could have been paired up with! They were so sweet and took me under their wing.'

Selena's platinum selling song Who Says, off her new album, contains the lyrics 'Who says you're not star potential?' and the actress admits that she can relate to that having been told that on several occasions.



'I’m 19, so I feel like everything that I’m doing right now should not be taken too seriously. I should be able to have fun and enjoy where I’m at! So I don’t want to spend my time hiding or worrying about all of that.'



Yet the star has been threatened, on several occasions by hardcore Bieber fans.



'Yeah, I’m human, so of course certain things sometimes hurt. I just laugh at it,' she says.

Jedward as you've never seen them before: Former X Factor stars John and Edward Grimes are seen bruised and battered in a new anti-bullying campaign



They can usually be seen bounding around the stage in outrageous outfits performing a variety of catchy tunes.



But in a hard-hitting campaign against bullying, Jedward are seen posing as assault victims, looking bruised and battered in the shots launched by children's campaigners.



X Factor judge Louis Walsh, Westlife star Mark Feehily, MTV presenter Laura Whitmore and actress Saoirse Ronan have also been photographed as part of the series of images launched by the Irish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (ISPCC).

Westlife singer Feehily, who came up with the idea, said he was inspired by his own personal experiences of bullying when he was younger.



He said: 'I know at first hand how the impact of being bullied as a teenager can quite literally last a lifetime and I thought that if we could involve well-known ISPCC ambassadors perhaps people will think twice about bullying or indeed allowing bullying to happen.'



All those who took part in the campaign gave their services for free, including the celebrities, photographer Barry McCall, make-up artist Tom McInerney and several advertising agencies.

Last year Ireland's Childline service received around 2,300 calls and messages everyday from young people, with almost a quarter of these contacts relating to abuse and welfare, including bullying and issues around mental health.



ISPCC chief executive Ashley Balbirnie said: 'We are very grateful to Mark Feehily and our ambassadors for their support in raising awareness of this important issue.'

The Kardashian Kollection, which officially arrives in 400 of the retailer's U.S. stores on August 25, is available to buy online from today at a 30 per cent discount in a 'pre-sale' to celebrate its launch.

As one would expect, the line bears all the signatures of Kim, Kourtney and Khloe - figure-hugging dresses, printed pantsuits and of course, sky-high platform shoes.



Prices start at $20 for an Art Deco-inspired cocktail ring, up to $99 for a dress or pantsuit. The line also includes handbags and even lingerie.



In an interview on Good Morning America today, Kim, 30, described the collaboration as a dream come true.

The 20-year-old star is seen posing shirtless for a sexy new shoot in heat magazine, showing off his muscular frame in the pictures.



And Joey said in the accompanying interview the outfits he wore for the shoot came as a welcome change from his usual choice of garments.

He said: 'I like my new look, I think it’s really cool. Some of my skinny jeans chafe, I’ve been told by girlfriends that I shouldn’t wear them so tight.'



While the down and dirty look is in sharp contrast from Joey's usual clean and polished appearance, the reality TV star said he felt better than ever in the pictures.



He told heat magazine: 'I feel a lot sexier than normal. I’ve got my top off and I’m all sweaty.



'This is definitely one of my sexiest days. I’m probably hitting, like, eight-and-a-half, nine, nearly a ten in sexiness.'

He said: 'I’ve never fallen in love with a girl so quickly before. I know she feels the same way.



'She texted me the other day to say she still loves me. We still speak at least five times during the week.'

But before it all kicks off later this month, Tulisa Contostavlos has been making the most of a few rare days off on a holiday with friends in Ibiza.



The 23-year-old singer was seen showing off her toned curves in a black two-piece as she made the most of the sunshine and enjoyed a dip in the warm water.





Toned: Despite her enviable figure, N-Dubz singer Tulisa said in a previous interview she rarely watches what she eats





Tulisa displayed her enviable figure in the on-trend high-waisted bikini, and smiled widely as she messed around with friends including former Misteeq singer Su-Elise Nash.



However, despite her incredible physique, Tulisa admitted in a previous interview that watching her weight isn't something she has to worry about.



She said: 'My diet is terrible, I don't know how I stay slim, I should really be obese! Sometimes I can eat healthily if I fancy cooking or I'll eat out. Anything I want - that's my diet!

Ema Jagodič was crowned Miss Universe Slovenia 2011 at the conclusion of the national finals held in Ljubljana. She will represent Slovenia in Miss Universe 2011 in São Paulo, Brazil on September 12. Ajda Sitar and Nataša Naneva finished second and third, respectively. Tamara Dragšič, Tanja Radić and Kanita Agić completed the Top 6.

Country sensation Taylor Swift caught major waves at the Teen Choice awards last night, scooping up six surfboard trophies including one for Ultimate Teen Choice.



Swift, who soared to popularity in 2006 at age 16 with her self-titled debut album, won a total of six awards: choice female music artist, country female artist, female red carpet fashion icon, country single for 'Mean' and break-up song for 'Back to December.'



The 21-year-old crooner was also honoured for her contributions to entertainment with the Ultimate Choice Award, the show's version of a lifetime achievement award.

Accepting her Ultimate Teen Choice surfboard onstage, Swift thanked her fans and joked: 'It's been a long time since I was a teenager, like two years.'



She noted how teenagers often are teased by adults because they are 'intense'

or 'romantic,' but she encouraged kids in the audience and watching at home on the Fox TV network, saying: 'I think all those things are amazing things, and to all the teens watching, I hope you never lose those things.'

Since then, Lovato has talked openly about her problems with eating disorders and cutting herself that she linked to being bullied at school when she was younger.

Other winners who picked up surfboard-shaped trophies included Cameron Diaz as choice movie comedy actress for 'Bad Teacher,' Ellen DeGeneres as choice comedian and Ashton Kutcher as choice romantic comedy movie actor for 'No Strings Attached.'

Off, off, off! But Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie was no amused by the performance. Kutcher beat Fergie's man Josh Duhamel, who was also nominated in the category for Life As We Know It





Before leading the crowd in a singalong of Katy Perry's 'Teenage Dream,' Kutcher provided some topical advice.



'Don't ever charge anything on a credit card if you don't already have the money in the bank to pay for it,' he said.



The ceremony ended with a tribute to the 'Harry Potter' film franchise.



The final two instalments apparently bewitched online voters, winning such categories as choice sci-fi/fantasy movie, liplock, villain for Tom Felton and summer movie star for both Emma Watson and Daniel Radcliffe, who accepted his surfboard via satellite from New York

The once happy couple were spotted having an intimate meal together last month in the Los Feliz neighbourhood of Los Angeles.



The two have reportedly been in constant contact since then.

Their divorce was finalized on July 1.



Ryan is single again after ending a two month relationship with Oscar winning actress Charlize Theron.

She’s certainly not one to hide her feelings and Fergie made sure that everyone knew exactly how she felt last night.



When her husband Josh Duhamel missed out on a Teen Choice award the Black Eyed Peas singer couldn’t help but diss the winner.



As Ashton Kutcher took to the stage to collect his Choice Award the camera panned back to Fergie who was seen making a slashing gesture across her throat.

The singer, 36, was seen shaking her head as the new Two and a Half Men recruit took to the stage to pick up his surfboard for his role in No Strings attached.



Fergie was sat with her Black Eyed Peans bandmates Taboo and apl.de.ap. as she failed to contain her disappointment.



Meanwhile Ashton, 33, took to the stage and showed off his song skills and offered advice to the young crowd.

He advised: 'Here's the best piece of advice I got when I was a teenager,

It wasn’t just Josh who missed out on an award, The Black Eyed Peas were nominated in three categories, including Music Group, Hip Hop track and single, but failed to scoop a single award.



The singer had arrived at the Gibson Amphitheater dressed to impress in her yellow and black Dolce and Gabanna dress.



Her husband Josh did not attend the awards.
